Attendees: Doug Lohmeier, John Ranz, Stiney Vonderhaar, Jack Cameron, Chief Korte
1. Police
• Clerks Position
• Chief Korte advised the committee he contacted the other committee and will propose it this evening.
2. Fire
• New Hire Andy Ahlert will be on the agenda for May 14. All 6 candidates well great and the hiring committee had a hard choice.
• Mass Casualty Drill is to be held May 15th and all county departments were invited. Chief Hauck & 3 other members of the department will participate.
• Kitchen Remodel began this month and is scheduled to be completed in July.
• FFC license Renewal – Chief Hauck explained there is a license we pay for an option to use a backup system in case communications go out. Although highly unlikely for $85 for ten years he thought it was not a bad thing to have.
3. Recreation
• Dave was absent but submitted report that there will be two hiring ordinances on the agenda; one is the annual seasonal hires and the other a replacement part time position.
